Build a sound by mixing the first eight harmonics of a fundamental tone. Each slider sets the loudness of one harmonic, whose frequency is a whole-number multiple of the fundamental. Try the presets, then remove the fundamental and listen to whether the pitch changes. Press Start audio first.
What to notice: even with harmonic 1 removed, the pitch you hear stays the same, because the ear infers the fundamental from the spacing of the remaining harmonics.
